Winter is the most Yin of all seasons. It asks us to rest, reflect, and go inward. But life often demands the opposite. This week, we invite you to intentionally Nourish and Slow Down.
1. Warm Your Core with Nourishing Foods
Instead of reaching for cold or raw meals, try comforting, energy-rich foods:
Slow cooking: Think stews, soups, roasted root veg
Warming spices: Add ginger, cinnamon, turmeric or clove
Warm drinks: Swap ice water for herbal teas or warm lemon water
These changes support digestion, immunity, and inner vitality.
2. Embrace Gentle Movement
In winter, movement keeps energy flowing and prevents stagnation:
Try a 10-minute yoga flow or mindful walk
Stretch your spine and twist gently to support your lymphatic system
Add simple joint rotations throughout your day to boost circulation
Treat your body like a fire. Fuel it well, and keep the flame alive with gentle, intentional movement.
We can't wait to welcome the season with you – whether you're retreating into stillness or celebrating with glitter and glue.
With love
